About Texas A&M Mock Trial

Originally founded in 1991 and reestablished in 2015, Texas A&M Mock Trial gives Texas A&M students an opportunity to further their rhetorical, analytical, and reasoning skills by providing the chance to compete in mock trial competitions. Membership in our organization is open to students of all majors and fields of study at A&M. Texas A&M Mock Trial is an award winning organization representing A&M across the nation. To date, our members have proudly earned many attorney, witness, and overall tournament awards, including a perfect 8-0 sweep at the 2023 Regionals Competition! We are entirely student run and strive to improve every year. The past three seasons have shown immense growth, with our organization earning three consecutive bids to the Opening Round Championship series and a bid to the National Championship during the 2018-2019 competition season. In addition to professional and competitive success, Texas A&M Mock Trial organization is a wonderful way to have fun, network, and quickly make friends on campus and at other schools.

While Mock Trial is a competitive organization first and foremost, it is also a great way to meet many talented and likeminded people at A&M. Throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, Mock Trial has many social opportunities to bond as a team and make lasting memories as a part of the greater mock trial community. This includes multiple team retreats, holiday-themed social events, an end of year banquet, and numerous weekend competition trips. Just listen to what a few of our former/current mockers have to say about their time in Mock Trial!
